William Joseph "Billy Joe" Johns

William Joseph "Billy Joe" Johns, 77, husband of Angi Anderson Johns, passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at his home on Chrisman Mill Road. He was born in Nicholasville, Kentucky on June 19, 1944, to the late Elmer “Red” Johns and Dallas Reynolds Johns. Billy Joe was a construction general contractor and a member of Mt. Lebanon Methodist Church. Survivors include his daughter, Kellie Johns Lopez (Ramon), two brothers, Wayne Johns (Ruth), and David Johns five grandchildren, Katelyn Brown, Audrey Brown, Maggie Brown, Olivia Lopez, and Alex Lopez. He was preceded in death by two stepchildren, Nicki Brown and Jeremy Moody. Services will be 10:00 AM, Tuesday, July 20, 2021, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Stipe and Bro. Wayne Johns officiating. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery. Bearers will be Mark Goddard, John Peel, J.R. Peel, John Brown, Felix Torres, and Joshua Johns.
