William Curd Elliott

William Curd Elliott, 63, widower of Doris Jean Drury, died Monday, November 10, 2025, at his home in Harrodsburg, Kentucky. He was born in Harrodsburg, Kentucky, on February 24, 1962, to the late Albert Jasper Elliott and Elizabeth Louise Johnson Elliott. William retired from the University of Kentucky grounds and maintenance department. He is survived by his son, Andy Elliott, and his wife, Christina; his granddaughter, Emily Elizabeth Elliott; a sister, Nancy Johnson; and a brother, Jimmy Elliott. Services will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Bro. Jay Webb officiating. The burial will follow in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. Bearers will be Jimmy Elliott, Bradley Johnson, Andy Elliott, Bradley Johnson, Jr., Kenny Drury, and Kenneth Drury. Honorary bearers will be James League, Owen Johnson, Zander Johnson, Gabriel Drury, Benny Drury, and Cody McFerson. The visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at the funeral home.
