Virgil Wayne Ritchie, 74, passed Monday, April 24, 2017. He was born April 27, 1942 in Nicholas County, KY to the late Virgil Clay Sr., and Nadine Ritchie. He was a member of Southland Christian Church and an Army Veteran. Family survivors are two daughters, Carmen Treadway (David) Hafley and Heather Ritchie, a son, Benjamin Ritchie, a sister, Beth (Scott) Tuttle, two brothers, Virgil Clay (Sue) Ritchie Jr. and Virgil Lee (Gloria Columbia) Ritchie, seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren and other family members. Service will be 3:00 PM Saturday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. James Humphrey officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until time of service Saturday.
