Vina Jane Rainwater Gullette

Vina Jane Rainwater Gullette, 85, widow of Obra Gullette, died August 22, 2010 after a long illness. She was the daughter of Welcome Joseph and Viola Iverson Hodge Rainwater. Vina was a member of the Wilmore Women-s Club, Wilmore Free Methodist Church and was a Kentucky Colonel. She is survived by two sons, Larry Gullette and Mike (Judy) Gullette of Wilmore, seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, three sisters, Alice Walker- Nicholasville, Faye Hogue, Wilmore and Susie (David) West Hall, Lexington and a son in law, Patrick Casey, Nicholasville. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Casey. Funeral services will be 12:00 PM, Thursday at Wilmore Free Methodist Church with Rev. Dean Cook officiating. Burial will follow in the Wilmore Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8:00 PM, Wednesday at Betts & West Funeral Home and from 10:00 AM until the time of the service Thursday at the church.
