Tony Wayne Drury, 66, father of Jami Oliver, of Edwards Drive, Nicholasville, passed away Friday, June 6, 2025, at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. Tony was born in Nicholasville on August 19, 1958, to Edith Merriman Drury and the late Edward Leon Drury. Tony was a lifelong farmer in Jessamine County; he was an avid fisherman, a skilled deer hunter, and an all-around outdoorsman. He also loved to feed the stray animals all over town. He is survived by his daughter, Jami Oliver, his brother, Roger Drury, two sisters, Charlotte Drury and Martha Caudill, three grandchildren, and numerous friends and other family members. Services will be 12:00 PM, Thursday at Betts & West Funeral with Bro. Bill Bales officiating. Burial will follow in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. Bearers will be Todd Drury, Tim Reed, Bruce Quillen, Sam Burton, Mickey Stinnett, and Jeff Reister. Honorary Bearers will be Dane Deaton, Sammy Conn, Rosevelt Blackford, Tommy Garrison, Cameron Garrison, Teresa Garrison, and Julie Quillen. Visitation will be 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home. Betts & West is honored to serve the Drury family in their time of need.
