Tony Collins, age 75, was born on March 1, 1951, to the late Allen Charles and Christine Marshall Collins.
Tony was a proud and honorable veteran of the United States Army. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, fishing, attending yard sales, and, most of all making memories with his family. He will be remembered for his love of family, his service to his country, and the many lives he touched throughout the years.
Tony is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Debra Davis Collins; his daughter, Christina (Jason) Collins; his sister, Ruth (Sherman) Richardson; his grandchildren, Erik (Madison) Collins, Destinee (Keith) Shuler, Grace (Blake) Shearer, Brandea (Billy) Sewell Hardy, and Micheal Collins; and adopted daughter Virgie “Lynn” Scanlon. Also his cherished great-grandchildren, Makayla, Branson, Memphis, Wyatt, Amelia, and Hazel.
In addition to his parents, Tony was preceded in death by his children; Yvonna “Lynn” Sewell, Anthony Collins, and an unborn infant; his brothers, Tobe Collins, Melvin Collins, and Jimmy Collins; and his sisters, Beulah Powell, Mable Tribble, Stella Hopper, Lilly Hoskins, and Rose Schroedel.
Funeral services will be conducted at 5 PM Thursday, August 13, 2026, at Crosswoods Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 3-5 PM Thursday at the Church
Tony's memory will forever be cherished by his family and friends, who will continue to honor his life, love, and legacy.
