Tommy M. Long, Jr., 79, widower of Mary Lee Farrow Long, died on Monday, September 1, 2025, at his home on Brookview Drive in Nicholasville, Kentucky. Tommy was born in Lexington, Kentucky, on July 25, 1946, the son of the late Tommy Manford Long, Sr., and Juanita Baker. Tommy was a devoted father, grandfather, truck driver, and a United States Army veteran. Survivors include his children, William Joseph Long, Stephanie Linnette Long Okeson and her husband, Steven Tyler, Tommy Manford Long III, and Michael Patrick Kenaz Long; grandchildren, Hannah Nicole Courtney, Annie Rose Okeson, Charlie Long, and Jordan Long; and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Pastor Rodney Dale Murphy officiating. The interment will follow in Camp Nelson National Cemetery with full Military Honors. The visitation is scheduled to take place at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. Betts & West Funeral Home is honored to provide support and services to the Long family during this challenging time.
