Thomas Frank Field, age 81, passed away May 24th, surrounded by his cherished friends and family.
Tom was born in Chicago, Illinois, to Harry and Marie Field. He lived in Nicholasville the majority of his life and was a retired Little Debbie Distributor. To many, he was known as the “Little Debbie Man.” He attended Mount Pleasant Church in Keene. Tom never met a stranger and befriended everyone he met, whether that was a neighbor while walking or an employee at a local business. Always joking, he brought a smile to everyone he encountered.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Marie Field; brother, Donald Field; first wife, Jeannine Field; and son, Brian Field. He is survived by his wife Shirlene Sams Field; three sons, Stephen [Vikki] Field, Todd [Jaime] Field, and Jason [Danielle] Field; stepdaughter Rhonda [Chase] Cunningham; stepson Robert Vice; grandchildren, Ethan Belcher, Taylor Field, Henry Field, Adelaide Field, Aviana Cunningham, Ainslee Cunningham, Nathaniel [Deelaney] Vice, Katelyn Coventry, and Logan Vice; great grandchildren, Salem Vice and Rowan Vice; cousins, Randy [Dianne] Field, Mike Field, Lee [Collette] Field, and Donna [Frank] Landrum.
A celebration of life will be held at Betts and West Funeral Home in Nicholasville, KY, on Friday, May 30th. Visitation will be held from 3:00 – 5:00 PM with the funeral service at 5:00 PM.
