Stephen Michael Chapman

Stephen Michael “Mike” Chapman, 73, passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at his home in Nicholasville, Kentucky. He was born in Lexington, Kentucky, on October 20, 1951, to the late Carl Chapman and Margie Wiley Chapman. Mike had worked as a lineman and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He is survived by his son, Stephen Shea Chapman (Amy); brother, Danny Chapman (Agnes); sister, Debra Chapman; grandchildren, Michael Bradley Chapman (Carmen), Zachary Tyler Chapman, and Izabella Grace Chapman; as well as great-grandchildren, Michael Elijah Chapman and Aria Jade Chapman. In addition to his parents, Carl and Margie, he is preceded in death by a son, Michael Harrison Chapman. Visitation will be held from 11:00 – 2:00 PM, Tuesday, June 17, at Betts & West Funeral Home. Graveside services and Military Rites will follow at Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Betts & West is honored to serve Mike and his family in their time of need.
