Sina Parsons Balltrip

Sina Parsons Balltrip, 97, widow of Herman C. Balltrip, passed away Friday, February 28, 2025, in Nicholasville, Kentucky. She was born in Harlan County on March 19, 1927, to the late Vernon Parsons and Hattie Phillips Parsons. She is survived by her sons, Ralph Balltrip, Howard Balltrip, and Albert Balltrip (Martha Duncan); grandchildren, Ralph Balltrip Jr., Jeffrey Balltrip, Jeremy Balltrip, and Tiffany Spence; as well as five great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Herman, she is preceded by her brothers, Kenneth Parsons, Henry Parsons, Howard Parsons, and Bobby Parsons; and her sisters, June Skinner and Nell Justice. Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, March 3, at Lexington Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest with her husband. Betts & West is honored to serve Sina and her family in their time of need.
