Shelby Tackett

Shelby Tackett, 68, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at Baptist Health in Lexington. She was born in Pikeville on February 20, 1954, to the late Carl Tackett and Mabel Johnson Tackett. She is survived by her son, Phillip Hamilton; daughter, Lucy A. Sweeney (James); brother, Clement Tackett (Esta); sisters, Truly Wright (Jody), Vonda Moore (Paul), Brenda Conway (Reford); sister-in-law, Debbie Tackett; and grandchildren, Destinee Hamilton, Devonta Pettit, Jasmine Sweeney, and Ashley Taylor. She is preceded by one brother, Michael Tackett. There are no public services scheduled at this time. Betts & West is honored to serve the Tackett family in their time of need.
