Selbert C. Smedley, 75 died Thursday, August 22, 2013. He was born August 24, 1937 in Midway, KY to the late Irvin and Mattie Brown Smedley. He was a US Air Force Veteran. Survivors are sisters, Betty (Estill) Collins, Ruth (Donnie Spivey) Fenison, Patricia (Jamie) Justice, a brother Valis (Grace) Smedley and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be 11:00 am Monday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Bro. Michael Wayne Smedley officiating. Burial will be in Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Bearers will be Joe Hurt, Jodie Dunn, Adam Cobb, Valis and Jerry Smedley and Scotty Byler.
