Sandra Gayle Key Carr

Sandra Gayle Key Carr, 82, widow of Ralph Carr, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at Sayre Christian Village in Lexington, Kentucky.

She was born on November 12, 1943, in Dothan, Alabama, the daughter of the late Shelby Marvin Key and Lois Josephine Windsor Key.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Tonya Bailey, and her husband, Rick, as well as two grandchildren, Shelby Griffin and her husband, Jeremy, and Brooks Bailey and his wife, Mindy, six great-grandchildren: Alexis Griffin, Carter Griffin, Olivia Bailey, Daisy Bailey, Woods Bailey, and Milly Bailey.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, December 26, 2025, at Crosswoods Baptist Church, 4994 Harrodsburg Road, Nicholasville, Kentucky 40356, with Pastor Stephen Bruce officiating. The burial will follow in the Lexington Cemetery, with family and friends serving as bearers. The visitation will be held at the church on Friday, beginning at 11:00 AM and continuing until service time.
