Roy Isaacs

Roy Isaacs, age 78, husband of Joyce Ann Wiseman Isaacs, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2026, at his home on Pine Grove Circle in Nicholasville, Kentucky. Roy was born in Sand Gap, Kentucky, on May 24, 1948, to the late Robert Isaacs and Carrie Jones Isaacs. Roy was an equipment operator for Tutt Inc. and had a lifelong love for fishing. Survivors include a son, Jimmy Isaacs; two grandchildren, Mackenzie Isaacs and Grace Hurt; her husband, Cameron; and a great-grandchild, Rowan Hurst, three sisters, Melvie Cain, and her husband Birsley, Mae Welch, and Jean Browning. He was preceded in death by a sister, Ruby Isaacs, and three brothers, Leslie Isaacs, Kenneth Isaacs, and Wayne Isaacs. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, July 31, 2026, at Betts & West Funeral Home, with Randy Cain officiating. The visitation will be from 11:00 AM until service time on Friday at the funeral home. The burial will follow at Cook Cemetery in Sand Gap, Kentucky. Bearers will be Greg Isaacs, Stacy Long, John Browning, Steve Cain, Marck Welch, Chris Smith, and Steven “Bubby” Harris.
