Ronnie Jason Hopkins

Ronnie Jason Hopkins, 57, of Nicholasville, passed away Thursday, December 23, 2021. He was born in Lexington on March 26, 1964 to Ronald C. (Freda) Hopkins and Jean (Ira) Curry Prater. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a son, Ronald (Ray) Hopkins, a daughter, Alli (Jeremy) Stith, a special friend, Keith (Nancy) Kestel, one sister, Cheryl Hopkins, one granddaughter, and abundance of friends who will miss him very much. Services will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, January 1, 2022, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Brother Bill Bales officiating. Burial will follow in the Wilmore Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Keith Kestel, Ray Hopkins, Jeff Riester, Tim Daniels, Mark Perkins, Steve Dean, and Chas Kestel. Honorary casket bearers will be Mike Kestel, Jim Hendren, Tony Napier, Kenny Upton, Jeremy Stith, Bobby Perkins, Austin Dean, and Mickey Stinnett. Visitation will be Friday, December 31, from 5 to 9 PM at the funeral home. Betts & West is honored to serve the Hopkins family in their time of need.
