Ronald Lee Lane

Ronald Lee “Toothpick” Lane, 85, widower of Clara Vaught Lane of Lancaster, Kentucky, passed away at the home of his son on Wednesday, June 25, 2025. He was born on October 8, 1939, in Keene, Kentucky, to the late George Lane and Georgia Morgan Lane. Ronald was a farmer and an avid billiards player. Ronald is survived by his son Matthew (Becky) Lane, his daughter Missy (Eric) Shelton two grandchildren, Brody Lane and Joshua (Allie) Lockard, and one great-grandchild, Silas Lockard, and a sister in law Phyllis Lane. He was also preceded in death by one brother Donnie Lane. Visitation will be from 4-8 PM on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at Betts & West Funeral Home.
