Rocky Owen Young

Rocky Owen Young, age 70, husband of Della Fern Fox Young, passed away Monday, August 4, 2025, at his home in Nicholasville, Kentucky. He was born on December 24, 1954, in Scott County, Kentucky, to the late Robert Young and Inez Arnold (Virgil) Cooper. Rocky was a lifelong brick mason and a member of Christ Embassy Church. He is survived by two children, Tonya Inez Stidham and her husband, Johnathan, and Helen Dawn Blair, two brothers, Gene Young, Bob Young, Jr, and his wife Judith, two sisters, Mary Andrew Young and Linda Jo Cummins, six grandchildren, Peyton Stidham, Penelope Hudgins, Isaiah Stidham, Richard Owen Cunningham, Willow Stidham and Anaveah Stidham. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Ann Lee McKenzie and Patricia Jessie Baesler.  Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM, Friday, August 15, 2025, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Johnathan Stidham officiating. The burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. The visitation will be on Friday 10:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
