Robert Cecil Coyle

Robert Cecil Coyle, age 88, widower of Nannie Lee Eagle Coyle, passed away on Tuesday morning, August 25, 2026, at his home on Groggins Ferry in Jessamine County. He was born in Hardin County, Kentucky, on December 10, 1937, to the late Virgil Aquilla Coyle and Lillian Mitchell Coyle. Robert was a United States Army Veteran and was a retired Maintenance Supervisor at Texas Instruments. He is survived by a daughter, Cheryl Lee (Patrick) Dennis; son, Jerry Wayne Coyle; and grandson, Cody Allen Clark. Additional survivors include his siblings, David Coyle, Orville Coyle, and Ruby Jones. He was preceded in death by siblings Anita Tate and Billy Coyle. Services will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Betts & West Funeral Home, with Bro. Jay Webb officiating. Interment will follow at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. Bearers will be Patrick Dennis, Rick Clark, Dale Kelly, Forrest Baldwin, Matthew Evans, and Donald Johnson. The visitation will be 4-8:00 PM on Friday, August 28, 2026, at the funeral home.
