Robert Louis Collier, Sr.

Robert “Robbie” Lewis Collier Sr., age 60, of Nicholasville, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, October 31, 2026, at the University of Cincinnati Hospital following a sudden illness.  Born October 26, 1966, in Lexington, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Carl Leslie Collier Sr. and Betty Jean Collier. Robbie was a 1988 graduate of Jessamine County High School and a lifelong member of Nicholasville Presbyterian Church.

An avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan, Robbie enjoyed a spirited and good-natured football rivalry with his son, R.L., who proudly cheered for Michigan. He played softball for the Presbyterian Church team, where he formed many lifelong friendships. Robbie also enjoyed bowling, basketball, and watching anime movies.

He is survived by his children, Catherine “Katie” Collier and Robert “R.L.” Collier Jr.; his brothers, William Collier, Carl Collier Jr., and Christopher Collier; his wife, Kim; his sister, Catherine, and her husband, Ronnie; and two beloved cousins, Dana Hager and Laverna Clem.
