Rebecca Jean Mccarty

Rebecca Jean McCarty, 67, wife of Paul Edward McCarty, of Rebel Road, Nicholasville, passed away on Friday, May 28, 2021 at her home. She was born in Springfield, Illinois on May 11, 1954 to the late Vertriece Lay and Eula Mae Callahan Lay. Additional survivors include one son, Keith Aaron Lay, three daughters, Suzanne Courtney, Sierra Duh, and Aliyah Duh, one brother, Robert Lay, two special grandchildren Sierra and Ellexis Courtney and several other grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, William Allen Courtney, and six brothers and sisters. Services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Betts & West Funeral Home.
