Paul Vernon Masters

Paul Vernon Masters, age 60, passed away on Monday, February 23, 2026, in Versailles, Kentucky. He was born on July 29, 1965, in Lexington, Kentucky, to the late Paul Burham and Anne Cotton Masters. Paul worked in Masonry most of his life.

Paul was survived by his five children: Erica Hurd, husband Derek; Jeremy Masters; Leisha; Lexi; and Lacy. Six grandchildren. His siblings are Leslie Murphy and wife Holly, Glenda Hammonds and husband Danny, Paul Vernon, sister C. Masters (Needy), and numerous nieces and nephews. Paul is preceded in death by his father, Paul Burnham Masters, and his mother, Ann Elizabeth Cotton, and two sisters, Gail Murphy and Ruth Ann “Rudy” Bates, and one brother, Vernon Ray Masters.

A celebration of life will be held at the High Bridge Pavilion on Saturday, May 2nd, 2026, at 1:30 pm. His remains will be placed with his lifelong friend, Paul Martin, at Maple Grove Cemetery.
