Paul Edward Mccarty

Paul Edward McCarty, 60, widower of Rebecca Lay McCarty, passed away Saturday, October 21, 2023. He was born in Owensboro, Kentucky, on October 27, 1962, to the late Paul Daniel McCarty and Daisy Emma Shelley McCarty. He is survived by his daughters, Sierra Duh, and Aliyah Duh; brother, Gary McCarty; sisters, Darlene Stinnett (Dwayne), Alice Duh (John Rollins), and Wanda McCarty (Robert); as well as grandchildren, Alexis Courtney, and Sierra Courtney. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by siblings, Connie McCarty, Regina McCarty, Mark McCarty, Mike McCarty, Daniel McCarty, and James McCarty. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, October 25, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Pastor Billy Peel officiating. Burial will follow at Mose Reynolds Cemetery, where family and friends will serve as bearers. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until the time of service, Wednesday, at the funeral home.
