Patricia Lynn McGrann Leighty

Patricia Lynn McGrann Leighty, age 81, widow of Cloyd Randall “Randy” Leighty, of Nicholasville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, February 18, at Baptist Health Lexington. She was born in Jessamine County, Kentucky, on February 3, 1945, to the late George H. McGrann and Inez Davis McGrann. She is survived by two sons, Therrol Horton and his wife, Sandy, Gilbert Ray Horton, Jr., four grandchildren, Devon (Amanda) Horton, Joseph (Hannah) Horton, Cherish (Hunter) Robbins, and Sarah Horton, and sixteen great-grandchildren. Additional survivors include two sisters, Barbara Kincaid and Mary Vaughn. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Daniel Horton; two sisters, Helen Reed and Bonnie Statler; three brothers, Joe McGrann, George McGrann, and Cecil McGrann; and an infant brother. Funeral services will be at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at Betts & West Funeral Home, with Pastor Danny Mulcahy officiating.
