Nicholas Vitalis

Nicholas Vitalis, 76, husband of Elaine Berry Vitalis, passed away June 24, 2021, at his residence. He was born on January 29, 1945, in Brooklyn, New York, to the late Jack and Antonette Vitalis. Nicholas was former owner and operator of Nicks Marine Service. Besides his spouse, he is survived by two sons Nicholas Vitalis Jr., Joseph Vitalis, two daughters Lisa Vitalis, Christina Vitalis (Joshua) Denham, ten grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, one sister Anna Connelly, five nephews and several great-nieces and nephews, longtime friend Kenny McDaniel and an incredibly special extended family “The Magowans.” Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Bessie Theoharis. Funeral service will be conducted at 12:30 PM Tuesday, June 29, 2021, with Brother Jay Webb officiating. Burial will follow in the Camp Nelson National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM on Tuesday.
