Nell Gilmore Sturgill, 82, widow of William Q. Sturgill, passed Friday, November 4, 2016. She was born January 17, 1934 in Geneva, AL to the late Henry D. and Mary Stokes Gilmore. Nell loved to work, fish and spend time with her family. Family survivors are two children, JoAnn (Foster) Arvin and John D. Sturgill, a grandson, Christopher Arvin, a great grandson, Jonathan Arvin and other family members. She was also preceded in death by two sons, James Q. Sturgill and William A. Sturgill.
