Nancye S. Bailey

Nancye S. Bailey, 75, of Nicholasville, Kentucky, passed away on June 13, 2025. Born January 10, 1950, Nancye was the daughter of Joseph and Irene (Griswold) Stallard.

Nancye was preceded in death by her father and mother and by her beloved husband Bruce Bailey. She is survived by her sister, Bobbie Lynne Sparks, and her brother, Joseph Stallard, Jr., along with lots of family and friends.

A graduate of Tates Creek High School in Lexington, she was a long time employee at the Bloodhorse magazine of Lexington, Kentucky and later at the University of Kentucky Medical Center of Lexington, Kentucky.

Nancye will be remembered for her generous spirit, her joyful hospitality, and the love she shared with her family, friends, and dogs. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched and the values she instilled.

A celebration of life and memorial service for Nancye will be announced for a future date.
