Nancy Ann Moberly Hobbs

Nancy Ann Moberly Hobbs, age 77, of Peelmore Court in Nicholasville, passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, in St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born in Nicholasville, Kentucky, on May 1, 1948, to the late Charlie Moberly and Pearl Skaggs Moberly. Nancy was a homemaker who enjoyed caring for her home, children, and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Bobby Floyd, two daughters, Donna Shaw and her husband, B.J. Shaw, and Shelly Bain, three grandchildren, Jessica South, Kristina Peel and Cody Peel, four great-grandchildren, Hayvn Peel, Bailey Johnson, Brixton South, and Bodie South, and a sister, Sally Brock. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Donald Hobbs, a brother, John Moberly, and a sister, Ethel Scott. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at Betts & West Funeral Home. The burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Bearers will be Taylor South, B.J. Shaw, Keith Bain, Jamison Humphrey, Cody Peel, and Ricky Floyd. The visitation will be held on Tuesday from 11:00 AM until the time of services at the funeral home.
