Nancy Sue Armstrong (Caudill)

Nancy Sue Armstrong (Caudill),78, of Lancaster, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Nancy was born on February 9, 1948, in Blackey, Kentucky to William Spencer and Ruby Jewel Caudill. She lived a life devoted to her family, always placing the needs of those she loved above her own. Nancy was the heart of her family — a source of strength, comfort, wisdom, and unconditional love. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Leonard Francis Armstrong; her son, Daniel Thomas Armstrong; her parents, William Spencer and Ruby Jewel Caudill; her sisters, Lenora Dixion and Linda Jones; and her brother, David Caudill. She is survived by her loving son, William Steven Armstrong and wife Kim Stone-Armstrong; grandchildren Katalin Thomas and husband Kenneth Thomas, Daniel Armstrong-Graves and spouse Mason Armstrong-Graves, Roo Armstrong and partner Kristin Mancillas, and Addisen Stone and fiancée Michael Mardikes; and her cherished great-grandchildren Luna Masoner and Ophelia Thomas. She is also survived by her beloved siblings: Virginia Hanger, Teresa Wise (Neville), Rodger Shultz (Brenda), William Caudill (Mary), Martin Joe Caudill (Vickie), and Gary Caudill (Katie), along with many beloved nieces and nephews. Nancy found her greatest joy in her family. She will be remembered for her generous heart, steady presence, warm spirit, and the deep love she shared with all who knew her. Visitation will be held on May 22, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Bethel Christian Church. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m. Burial will take place at 1:30 p.m. at Camp Nelson National Cemetery. The family wishes to express heartfelt gratitude to all caregivers, the hospice team, family, and friends for their love, care, and support during this time. Nancy’s love and memory will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
