Mona Reid Dyer

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mona Reid Dyer, 85, on Saturday, October 21, 2023. She was born in Manchester, Kentucky, on January 7, 1938, to the late Ford & Eliza (Davis) Reid. Mona had worked for many years at Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington. She was the mother of Barbara Hobbs, Brenda Hay, and Brian Smith (Ranie), and a loving grandmother to Roger, Robin, Evan, Lauren, Leigh, and Brittany. She was also a loving and caring great-grandmother to Alexis, Dakota, Tianna, Tanner, Ryleigh, Emma, John, Hunter, Aubrey, Alan, Naomi, and Eliza, as well as a proud new great-great-grandmother to Everly. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ford and Eliza; three brothers, Ralton Reid, Ronald Reid, and Rollie Reid; sister, Mildred Anderson; niece, Louise Anderson; and nephew, Rollie Crest Reid. Her passing will leave a void in our lives that only God and time can heal.
