Mildred "Mickey" Katherine Bruner

Mildred "Mickey" Katherine Bruner, 65, wife of Kenneth Doug Bruner, of Palisades Heights, Nicholasville, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2022, at UK Medical Center. She was born in Jessamine County, Kentucky, on September 9, 1956, to the late Louis Boone and Imogene Lakes Stafford. She is survived by one daughter, Jamie (Tony) Ross, a step-son, Douglas (Stacy) Bruner, five brothers, Bill Stafford, Clarence Stafford, Hubert Stafford, Tom Stafford, and Wayne Stafford, two sisters, Deborah Fredenburg and Wanda (Shorty) Willis, two grandchildren, Matt and James Ross, and a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by a brother, Walter Boone, sister, Wilma Rader, and mother-in-law, Anna Belle Bruner. Services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, April 30, 2022, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Reverend Jack Saylor officiating. Burial to follow in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. Bearers will be Matt Ross, James Ross, Derik Stamper, Douglas Stamper, Clifford Bruner, Shaun Bodner. Honorary Bearers will be Derik Bruner and David Bruner.
