Michael Dean Lee

Michael Dean Lee, age 72, passed away on Friday, December 5, 2025, at Good Samaritan Hospital Hospice in Lexington, Kentucky on Friday, December 5, 2025. He was born in Nicholasville, Kentucky, on November 22, 1953, to the late Raymond Ray Lee and Christine Stinnett Lee. Michael retired from the University of Kentucky, where he worked in the Maintenance Department as a carpenter. He is survived by two sons, Matthew Raymond (Jennifer Noah) Lee and Christopher Michael (Haley) Lee, a stepdaughter, Shawn Reynolds Lester, a grandson, Cameron Michael Lee, and a brother, Donnie Ray (Jan) Lee. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 PM on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Pastor Bruce Floyd officiating. The visitation will be held beginning at 10:00 AM until service time on Thursday at the funeral home. The burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery with family and friends serving as bearers.
