Michael Eugene Gainey

Michael Eugene Gainey, 55, passed away Thursday, August 10, 2023, at the University of Kentucky of Medical Center. He was born in High Point, North Carolina, on August 30, 1967, to the late Maxie Gainey and Dorothy Brown Gainey. He is survived by his brother, Danny Gainey (Jessica); and sisters, Frances Aline Noe, Patricia Creech, and Sue Wright (Jerry). He is preceded in death by brothers, Maxie Gainey, and Richard Gainey; and sister, Patty Burr. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 6:00 PM, Friday, August 18, at Betts & West Funeral Home.
