Melvin Lester Campbell

Melvin Lester “Les” Campbell, 68, of Nicholasville, KY, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2026. Born March 13, 1957, in Great Falls, MT, he was known for his work in the music industry in and around Lexington, KY. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl, three children, Jason Alexander, Angel Rebecca, and Jacob Duncan, three brothers, Robert “Bob” Campbell and his wife Teresa, Benny Pivonka and his wife Debra, Ray Parker and his wife Brenda, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margie Louise Parker. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital in Les’s memory. Betts & West Funeral Home is honored to serve the Campbell family in their time of need.
