Melvetta Rose Hagan, 67, wife of Robert Lee Hagan, of Southbrook Drive, Nicholasville, passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at her home. She was born in Harlan County, Kentucky, on November 10, 1954, to the late Melvin and Jewel McGeorge Cornett. Melvetta is survived by two sons, Jared Hagan and Joseph Shields, and one granddaughter, Raelea Shields. Services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at Betts & West Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 4-8 PM at the funeral home. An online guestbook is available at www.BettsandWestFuneralHome.com.
