Melissa Gail Lake

Melissa Gail Lake, 56, passed away on September 23, 2026, in Nicholasville. Kentucky. She was born on June 8, 1970, to the late Gale Lake and Katherine Jane Cable Lake, who survived her. Melissa is also survived by a sister, Barbra (Sonny) Roberts; nieces, Kayla (Nicholas) Davenport, Lakin Roberts, and Madison (Luis) Roberts; great-nieces and nephews, Sophia, Kynzi, Pete, Paisley, and Daxton; and Special Aunts, Lexie Gibson and Linda Lake. Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon on Monday, September 28, 2026, at Betts and West Funeral Home, with Landon Rutter officiating. Burial will follow in Grapevine Cemetery in Harrodsburg. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon on Monday at the funeral home. Casket bearers will be Javan Sweeney, Troy Sweeney, Sonny Roberts, Nicholas Davenport, Stewart Goodpaster, and Troy Sammons.
