Matthew Douglas Johns, 19, son of Douglas Wayne Johns and Robin Short Johns, died May 9, 2012. He was an employee of Link Belt. Additional survivors include a sister, Amy Lynn Johns, a brother, John Tyler Nicholson, maternal grandparents, Goodie and Patsy Short, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends. Services will be 1:00pm Monday at Betts & West Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Wade Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-9pm Saturday and from 4-8pm Sunday.
