Mary Ruth Masters Wade

Mary Ruth Masters Wade, age 93, widow of Thomas Wade, passed away on Friday, June 5, 2026, at Baptist Health Lexington. She was born on May 15, 1933, in Ambrose, Kentucky, the oldest of ten children, to the late Woodrow Wilson Masters and Mary Ann Land Master. Mary Ruth retired from Kroger in Nicholasville after 48 years of service as the deli manager. Survivors include a son, Barry Wade; seven grandchildren: Michael Thomas Wade and his wife Twana, B.J. Wade, Cole Wade, Cory Wade and his wife McKenzie, Daniel Wade and his wife Melissa, Amy Collins, Mary Grace Fite; and a brother, James Edward Masters, and his wife, Phyllis. She was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Dale Wade. The funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 AM, Thursday, May 11, 2026, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Bales officiating. The burial will follow at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens, with B.J. Wade, Cory Wade, Daniel Wade, Michael Thomas Wade, Clifford Cole Wade, and Bobby Masters serving as bearers.
