Mary Elizabeth Motley Bowen, 86, died Wednesday, March 9, 2011. She was born June 29, 1924 in Mercer County to the late Hershel and Martha Crutchfield Motley. She had been a dorm counselor for Stewart Home School in Frankfort, KY. Survivors are two children, Loretta Jelf (Larry) Dedman of Cynthiana and Thomas A. (Diane) of Nicholasville, grandchildren, great grandchildren, a brother Ray Motley of Nicholasville and other family members. She was also preceded in death by a sister Edna Stinnett.
