Mary E. Peel Cobb

Mary E. Peel Cobb, age 86, loving wife of Archie Cobb for 69 years, passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at her home in Nicholasville, Kentucky. She was born in Jessamine County, Kentucky, on January 25, 1939, to the late Elbert and Daisy Wardlow Peel. Mary worked at the Jessamine County High School for 18 years. Survivors include two sons, Archie Cobb and his wife, Jessica, of Callahan, Florida, and David Cobb of Nicholasville, Kentucky; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two children, Carol Sue Cobb and Billy Ray Cobb. Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at Betts & West Funeral Home, with Pastor Diane Munoz officiating, and burial to follow in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. Bearers will be Chris Cobb, Layne Cobb, Brent Reynolds, Benjamin Dowell, Codie Roe, and Jared Teegarden. Honorary bearers will be Patrick Cheek, Cody Cobb, and Calvin Isaac.
