Martha Johnetta Zweifel

Martha Johnetta Bowles Zweifel, 87, widow of Cecil Zweifel, passed away at her home in Wilmore on Tuesday, January 11, 2022. She was a secretary for many years and a Sunday school teacher at Wilmore Free Methodist Church for over 25 years. She was born in Dallas, Texas, on August 13, 1934, to the late John C. Bowles and Omaree Smith Bowles. She is survived by one son, James Zweifel (Jody), one daughter, Cecile Powers (Jimmy), one sister, Robbie Joy (Don), six grandchildren, as well as six great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Cecil, and one daughter, Deborah Sue Zweifel. Private services will be held at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens.
