Margaret Perkins Burrus, 94, widow of Edgar Ray Burrus, formerly of Third Street, died December 28, 2007 after a lenghtly illness. Survivors include three children, Harold (Janice) Burrus-Nicholasville, David Burrus-FL, Betty Doris (Roy) Flannery-AL, six grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren, a half sister, Valeria Land-Richmond, three sister in laws, Ruth Evelyn Perkins-Nicholasville, Mary Alice Burrus-Lexington and Irene Burrus-VA. Services will be 11:00am Friday, January 4, 2007 at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Eugene Shields. Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 60-8pm Thursday.
