Lila Gray Griffin, 93, widow of Tom Byrd Griffin, died Thursday, June 05, 2008. She was born October, 20 1914 in Manchester, KY to the late Will and Sarah Elizabeth -Lizzie- Gray. Survivors are her children, Viola Helen Marcum-Nicholasville, Rosie Marie (Robert) Berryman, Alice Mae (Gary) Williams- both of Lexington, Lois Faye (Sidney Jack) Riddell-Irvin, Joseph (Vivian) Griffin-Lexington and Dillard Griffin-Nicholasville, daughter in law, Bonnie Faye Griffin-Nicholasville, a sister, Lula Williams-OH, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and other family members. Lila was also preceded in death by three sons, Dennis Mills, Rhennie and Gilbert Griffin. Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday at Betts & West Funeral Home with burial to follow in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be today from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
