Laurie Leah Fox

Laurie Leah Fox, age 47, passed away on September 7, 2025, at her home on Corman Drive in Nicholasville, Kentucky. Laurie was born in Salina, Kansas, on March 29, 1978, to Daniel Fox and Michaeline Eck Fox. Laurie was a Registered Nurse who became a wound care specialist. In high school, she was a member of Stuco, the choir, and the band, where she performed in state competitions. Laurie was an entrepreneur who enjoyed a wide range of crafting activities. She also enjoyed creating all kinds of 3D printing; she spent a lot of time during COVID printing masks and other PPE for the local hospital and school. She also loved becoming a creative influencer/Twitch streamer over the last couple of years. Survivors include her mother, Michaeline Fox, husband, John Hunter, of Kansas, and her daughter, Rebecca Hunter, two sons, Jordan Fox and Jonathan Hunter. The family has chosen cremation for her services. Services will be held for Laurie at 11:00 AM, on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at the Bible Christian Church in Arkansas City, KS.  Betts & West Funeral Home is honored to serve Laurie and her family during this challenging time.
