Laura Kay Ashcraft, 64, wife of Michael Clark Ashcraft, of Robin Road, Nicholasville, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. She was born in Morristown, Tennessee on April 27, 1962, to the late Robert C. and Doris Kay Seals Reagan. Laura retired as a teacher and was employed by the Kentucky Board of Education. She was a member of the Catalyst Christian Church in Nicholasville. She is survived by a brother, Chad Reagan, two sisters, Terri (Michael) Tuxbury, and Robin (Jeff) Fultz, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Pastor Dave Kibler officiating. Burial will follow in Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service on Tuesday, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Betts & West Funeral Home is honored to serve the Ashcraft family in their time of need.
