Larry Lee Combs

Larry Lee Combs, 56, husband of Tammy Yvette McClain, passed away on July 12, 2025, at his home on Ethel Drive in Nicholasville, Kentucky. He was born on April 23, 1969, in Prestonburg, Kentucky, to the late Bobby Combs and Dovie Poe Shockley. He was a machine mechanic at Toyota and a United States Army veteran. He is survived by two sons, Chase Allen Cooper, and Trevor Lee Combs and his wife, Alexis, a daughter, Deserae Combs and her wife, Tquori, and three grandchildren, Cayde Allen, Nevaeh, K.J., and a baby to be, Riley Grace Combs, and his father, Merle Ray Shockley. Additional survivors include two brothers, Ray Shockley and his wife, Tara, and Matt Combs, and a sister, Amanda Creech. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM, at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
