Kenneth Miller, age 78, passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at the Department of Veterans Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born on September 18, 1947, in Lexington, Kentucky, to the late Nolen Miller and Della Rhea Cuzick Miller. Kenneth was a Horseman by trade, a United States Army Veteran, and a Pentecostal Preacher. He enjoyed everything outdoors, including horses, gardening, and even mowing the lawn, as well as playing his guitar and singing and playing gospel songs. He is survived by eight children: Timothy Miller, Samuel Ray Miller, Nolan Miller, Anthony Miller, Kenneth Miller, Jr., Kimberlean Miller, Melissa Miller, and Anita Sargeant, as well as numerous grandchildren. Additional survivors include two sisters, Judy King and Rita Wagoner, and her husband, Joe. He was preceded in death by a brother, Nolen Miller, Jr., and three sisters, Patricia Rigsby, Linda Wade, and Carolyn Messer. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at 1:00 PM, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Bro. Buddy Puckett officiating. The burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, where bearers will be Rusty Wagoner, Michael Miller, Robert Sargent, Landon Miller, Buddy Messer, Will Cobb, Clay Anderson Miller, and Joe Wagoner. Honorary bearers will be Brandon Miller, Kenny Miller, Steve Cobb, and Norman Lee Messer. The visitation will be held on Thursday, prior to the service, beginning at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
