Katherine J. Prather Brafford, 72, wife of William C. Brafford of New Hope, Pennsylvania, died Monday, September 29, 2008. She was born December 23,1935 in Nicholasville to George and Ruth Bower Prather. She was a native of Nicholasville and graduate of Nicholasville High School. Survivors are two sons, William (Veronica) Brafford III-PN, David Anthony (Angela) Brafford-NV, two grandchildren, Sgt. James Brafford-Iraq, Natalie Brafford-NV, a sister, Martha Cole-PA. Services 10:00 am Friday at Betts & West Funeral Home. Burial in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Visitation Friday 9:00-10:00 am. www.BettsandWestfuneralhome.com
