Julian Louis Dearinger, 67, passed away on February 24, 2021, at his home in Nicholasville, KY. He was born on December 27, 1953, in Mobile, AL to the late Eugene and Aleta (Evans) Dearinger. Julian spent his early years in Glasgow, KY before moving to Lexington, KY, where he attended Tates Creek High School and where he would eventually meet his wife of 44 years, Susan (Horine) Dearinger. They moved to Nicholasville, where they raised their children Chris (Angela) Dearinger and Jessica (Joe) Massey.
Julian was a former deacon at Bethel Christian Church and also dedicated many years of service as a coach to countless boys and girls in the Jessamine Youth Soccer Association and as an assistant baseball coach in the Jessamine Youth Baseball League. Throughout his life, he enjoyed many things: reading, sports, fishing, anything of nostalgia, and of course his beloved cats and dogs. However, nothing brought him more joy than his family. He constantly praised and treasured his wife; he adored his children and grandchildren, Grace Caroline, Ashlyn and Clay Dearinger, and Jeremy Massey; he cherished his brother Matt (Tarla) Dearinger, and he tenderly missed his parents who had gone on before him. Words cannot express how much he’ll be missed, or the impact that his life had on those he loved. We will certainly miss his smile, his silly jokes, and his hugs, but we rejoice in knowing that he has been set free from this earthly body and that he now dances in the presence of his Lord Jesus.
Brother Bill Bales will preside over a memorial service at Bethel Christian Church in Nicholasville, on Wednesday, March 3rd at 2:00. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Woodford Humane Society.
