Louisville-John T. Downard, 91, died February 27, 2010 at the Thompson Hood Veteran Center in Wilmore, KY. He was a decorated veteran of WW II, serving with the 138th Field Arterially. He was the son of the late Benjamin and Rose Hardesty Downard. Survivors include a sister, Martha Frakes, nieces, Mary Anne Ziegler, Carolyn Greenwell, Rosanne Barringer and Jewell Cress. Graveside services will be held 1:30 Thursday, March 11, 2010 at Zachary Taylor National Cemetery. Online guestbook at www.BettsandWestfuneralhome.com
