John Frank Howard Iii

John Frank Howard III, 74, Mitchell Avenue, Lexington, Kentucky passed away, on Friday, December 29, 2023, at the VA Medical Center. He was born in Yoko Suka, Japan, on January 4, 1949, to the late John Frank Howard, Jr. and Maymie Marie Howard. John was a Navy Veteran and a retired nurse, who worked at the VA Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. He is survived by a son, John Frank Howard IV, and a daughter, Lannie Marie Myers, brothers, Jimmy (Janet) Howard, Mark (Trina) Howard, six grandchildren, Wiley Howard, Tripp Howard, Gavin Howard, Brianna Myers, Gavin Myers, and Emma Miller. Services will be 12:00 PM, Friday, January 5, 2024, at Betts & West Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Friday, January 5, 2024, at the funeral home.
